人々が　その大破したクルマを覗き込んだんだが

今日、ある映画を見た
イギリス軍が　戦争に勝っていたころの話だ
他の観客は　みんなさっさと帰っていったが
僕は最後まで観ていた
その戦争の話は　本で読んでいたし

目が覚めた
ベッドから飛び起きた
大急ぎで　髪を櫛で　なでつけ
階段を駆け下りて　コーヒーを一杯
ふと時計を見上げる　遅刻しそうだ
コートと帽子をつかんで
数秒のところで　バスに間にあった
二階席にあがって　やっとタバコを一服
だれかが　僕に声をかけてる
次の瞬間　僕は夢の中・・・

今日、あるニュースを読んだ
ランカシャーはブラックバーンの土地に　４０００個もの穴があいているらしい
その穴は　かなり小さいのだが　全部数えたそうだ
それでやっと　「アルバートホール何個分」かがわかるようになったらしい
