モロッコ、アメリカ・カリフォルニア最南部のサンディエゴ市）→メキシコ最北部の国境の町・TIJUANA、そして、東京。


映画のエンディングに近いシーン。ヘリコプターのシーンで、背景に一瞬、大きなモスクが見えて。

これはキング・ハッサン?モスクでは？

ということは、目的地は、カサ・ブランカでは？

やはり、そうでした。

メッカに次ぐ、世界最大のモスク。

10年ちょっと前、カサブランカに行ったときに見上げました。

赤新月社の、赤い、新月のロゴであるべきでは？！

帰ってきて、「お気に入り」の一つに加えていて、

しかし、「政治的問題」については、手がかりなし。




大学生とき、サンディエゴで、知り合いのアメリカ人の知り合いのメキシコ人の一家を訪ねたことを思い出して。
当然、メキシコ人に対しては、とっても親近感を持っています。

乳母のAmeliaが土漠の真ん中で、

！Niños！　（ニーニョス！　子供たち！）

と必死に叫ぶ声が、耳に残って。

メキシコやメキシコ人の描き方が、些かハリウッド的、
アメリカ人が持つメキシコ人のステレオタイプのようにも思えてきて。
しかし、監督は、正真正銘のメキシコ人。




チエコが警視庁の刑事に渡したメモ内容は、、、、

映画では見えなかった。

Alejandro González Iñárritu 監督が、「敢えてマックの看板を背景に入れたのは、インターナショナルな雰囲気を与えるため。」と、テレビのインタビューで説明。

インターナショナル、＝国際的、というよりは、普遍的な、cross-culturalな、の意か。
