It is my pleasure to invite countries/districts to submit a bid to host APRRC in 2011.
The Asia Pacific Regional Rotaract Conference started in 2004 and has become the largest and most prestigious Rotaract conference in the Asia Pacific. APRRC has been to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and will be hosted by Australia in November. We are looking for countries in the Asia Pacific that have not yet hosted APRRC, or would like to host APRRC is another part of their country, to carry on the APRRC tradition.
The aim of this conference is to bring Rotaractors from around the Asia Pacific region to one venue with the objective of establishing a common ground for discussions as well as affording a platform for the sharing of views and ideas. This is with the aim of encouraging and challenging participants to develop these views and ideas into action that will bear much fruits in the future.
APRRC serves as a forum for Rotaractors to meet and learn in an environment framed by the ideals of service and progress. It is culminated in the signing of a pact among the various districts and Rotary representatives that ensures closer collaboration and stronger fellowship between clubs and districts within the Asia Pacific region.
Hosting APRRC gives you a chance to showcase your country to the Rotaract world and allow fellow Rotaractors in your country to experience this amazing conference without having to travel overseas and pay for flights.
If you are interested in bidding to host APRRC 2010 please email me with your intent to bid before 7 November to jeremy@rotaractaustralia.org. The winning bid will be selected at the APRRC Leaders Meeting on November 27th.
Yours in Rotaract,
Jeremy
