Hi,

Let's introduce ourselves in English here:

I am Sarah from NZ but living in the US. I love slang and sex and love and relationships! I am having fun working with Kumi and Kaori on our website in Seattle, and we want to talk to people in Japan, who have similar interests as us!

My Japanese is not so good anymore (writing was never good! Kanji and grammar are so difficult涙!) so Kumi and Kaori will help me with Japanese posts.

Hiアラレちゃん

I'm Kumi and I live in Seattle now. I currently graduated from a community college here and got a certificate in Business. I am doing OPT now. (OPT is something that you can work in the U.S. for 1 year to get a work experience in your field.) I'm working for Sarah as a translator to create an excellent website and books!!

I like to meet people from different countries. I have an American boyfriend and an American roommate (a guy). I've found lots of interesting cultural differences between America and Japan since I came here. I am used to the American cultures now but sometimes I still get surprised. This community is especially good for sharing our surprises together指でOK

Hi! Thanks for the comment! Please check our website,LoveSlang out and let's learn English together(:
Hello all!
Kia ora, Sarah ;)

My name is Natsuko, and I live in Nagoya.
I love dramas and films, recently I've been hooked on LOST season 4 and Friends for the 100th time. lol
Let me see....I love
Slang
Sex (Who doesn't?! hehe)
Love
Relationships and attendant problems (because without them, I think life is like a salad with no dressing ;))
I hope you let me in here :-)

And personally, I am very much interested in how Sarah eloped last year....wink wink. As that's a word you don't really hear on a regular basis, aye?

Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu!
Hi Natsuko! Welcome!!! Looks like you have similar interests to us....love sex and relationships and a few rude words as well.

And you know Kia ora - did you stay in NZ for a while?

Yep we ran away and got married - it was a fun way to do it - here is our story if you are interested:

No hassles, no people, just us and the photographer, the celebrant and her friend on a beach. I recommend it!!! Not many people do it, but our parents were really happy for us when we told them after. My mum said: "How sensible." Haha!
>Sarah,

Thank you very much for sharing the story.
WOW....How sensible indeed! lol
Nah I think it's freakin' awesome what you and your hubby did!!
And what a breathtaking piece of scenery!!!!!
Congratulations again ;))
Your story got me to thinking perhaps I should take you up on that advice and just do it, elope:)

My BF and I once talked about how we should do it if we (ever) decide to get hitched, and we only agreed on one thing(Yea, that's a good sign....haha). That is, we should just have a beach party instead of a wedding! We'll be dressed up a bit for sure, but the guests will be wearing whatever they like and instead of some boring invitations, we'll send them hawaianas(or "jandals" in New Zealand?! ;)).

But eloping sounds a lot cooler and more fun now....
Oh well, I suppose I'll just take my time deciding....I don't think it's happening any time soon anyway!

I have been to your country Sarah, and I loved it. Though it was only just under two weeks, I'd say that was definitely enough for me to fall in love with your country! (And the accent....Have you got the cutest accent or what?!?! Especially on a guyあっかんべー)
>Natsuko,

Well I recommend it - but a beach party sounds just as good! It was our first choice but then we just decided to run away when planning got a bit difficult. Lots of people say that they wish they had done it that way and it was fun. But not for everyone, it is fun to plan a big party as well. Like the idea of wearing jandals :)

Glad you enjoyed visiting NZ, it is a nice place. This summer has been awesome. Lots of really sunny days - and hotter than usual. The other day it got to 37 degrees in Napier.

If you like the NZ accent - check out this video!

>Sarah,

LMAO!!!!
It's truly Kiwi, bro!
(lol)

I remembered.....I was on this bus down to Wellington
from Auckland, and sitting in front of me were two
huge maori guys. I overheard their conversation
but could not make any out. Even got to the point where
I thought maybe they were talking in Maori, not in English
but then I heard English words here and there, so....lol.
Jeeeeez, I loved and enjoyed every minute of the trip :))

I also watched "Sausaged As"....Bloody hilarious!!!!
Again, thanks for sharin', Sarah!!
