Hello. My name is Seth. I am an Italo Calvino fan from Seattle. I was very happy to find this community. I didn't know there were so many Calvino fans in Japan! My favorite Calvino books are 'Invisible Cities,' 'Difficult Loves (short stories),' 'Cosmonotics' and 'The Baron in the Tree.' Let's chat about Calvino's books in English! (I wish I could read them in Italian). よろしく!

I forgot to mention in my post how much I love 'On a Winters Night a Traveller...' I have seen Calvino's books in Japanese, but I have never met any people who have read them. It's really nice to meet you. I hope some people will join us and talk about Calvino in English!

Im Yo, a Calvino fan from Dublin, Ireland. I was really thrilled when I found this community. I can actually talk to someone about his books!! :)

Ive read 'The Invisible Cities' both in English and in Japanese. Its a beautiful book. I also love 'Under the Jaguar Sun'.

Hey all

Love "Invisible Cities," and "Cosmicomics." Happy to see a community devoted to his writing here. Can anyone suggest any similar writers (of any nationality)? I've found Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Jorge Luis Borges to also write magical realism, in their own very unique ways.
