Hiraizumi Konjikido is now listed in the World Heritage.
In 1189 Ohshu-Fujiwara shi in Tohoku erea was destroyed by Minamoto Yoritomo。
After 800 years Hiraizumi Konjikido the simble of Oshu- Fujiwarashi was researched and the seed of lotus was found near the neck of the Hidehira. the last general of the Oshu-Fujiwarashi.
In 1998 the lotus was first in bloom and now every July we can enjoy the lotus at the garden of the Oshu-Fujiwarashi.
Oshu-Fujiwara, Tohoku Erea, was the country governed by the people called Ezo.
Ezo erea had had a long time hard history controlled by the Chotei, Imperial Court, but the time of Oshu-Fujiwarashi they could governed the country by themselves.
Now Ainu, native people in Japan, is admitted by Jananese government, Ainu had had a very hard history under the control of Japanese government.
I think many Ainu people lived in this Tohoku Erea also.
