Let me tell you about books. I've finished reading this book.
This title is " ENDER'S GAME ".
This is a Sci-Fi novel.
Generally, a Sci-fi novel has a lot of technical terms.
So, I've avoided Sci-fi novels so far.
But this book doesn't have a lot.
It's a story of the child called ENDER who save the Earth from the invader.
He's trained by video game from five year old, and save the Earth in five years.
Ten year old boy saves the Earth.
It seems ridiculous and no way.
But think.
Children have a gift.
They are very good at video games.
They are better by far than us.
And they have a special gift about maneuvers.
They have no mercy and they are cruel.
I had never won to my son on the shooting video game.
He had beaten me into flat over and over again.
They believe anyone die hard on the video game.
If they control real starships from remote, they might be the best star fighters.
I guess that story might make sense.
Anyway, that was very interesting.
so I got another one here.
I heard its sequels are very difficult, so I have skipped some and chosen " Ender's shadow "
I haven't finished this one yet.
But, it's mostly same story to the first one, but different main character showed.
That main character is the boy called Bean.
He's an orphan.
He hadn't had a name at all.
Someone said to him " You, ain't worth a bean. "
So, he's got name, BEAN.
He's a small and skinny, and weak.
But he's very clever.
He showed in the first book as a side character.
I mean It's the same story, but different of the point of view.
That's the point fascinated me.
First of all, he joins an urchin group when he was four years old.
He can make smart ideas even if it's a planning murder.
He didn't have any choice to survive but to carried on it.
Actually, he's been sold or abducted as a organ donor for rich people's defective babies.
Nobody loves him even if he belong to any company.
And he can't love anyone.
What a pity !
But I guess, actually, he is starving for love.
The first main character, Ender was so, too.
Although, he has been growing up with a middle class family.
They don't have even any friend.
Selfish grownups made them so.
What a pity !
The two books say about the cruelty of children and their hierarchy consciousness.
The strong older children bully small children and make them obey.
And they bully the others in a group.
There aren't any friendship but only hierarchy.
It might be caused by video games and a cruel movies.
I wonder if the technology makes our future be good?
I'm not sure.
Well, this second book has been written as the same way as the first one.
So second one is easier to read than the first one because I've already used to it.
The two books have parallel stories.
So, I often read the first one again.
It's very interesting.

I've told you the boys save the Earth, but it doesn't matter.
You know, if humanity hadn't won, there aren't sequels.
