"A Light at the End of the Tunnel" Takedao Tunnel Exhibition Sunday June 25th, from 14:00 to 20:00
For an outdoor art event located in an abandonned train tunnel in a very pristine environment close to JR Takedao station, visual artists, musicians, poets and performers are invited to submit their work to be seen or heard. This year, the event will start during day time but will end after the sun comes down, with an improvised bunraku performance by a professional puppeteer. The theme of this year's event : "a light at the end of the tunnel".
The tunnel being a rather dark space to exhibit, artwork and performance have to be lit accordingly, In order not to disturb the quietness of the space, I would suggest that light or sound sources be natural or battery operated, as opposed to generator generated.
People interersted in taking part in the exhibition are invited to :
1. Answer the following questions to be included in the programme :
Name : Nationality : Title of the artwork : A brief biography :
(for reference only) Email address : Telephone number :
2. Send a JPG picture of their face (performers) or work (visual artists) and send the data to my email address : charles_billard@hotmail.com
There will be meetings for those wanting to see the space prior to the event or for those interested in collaborating with other artists. I will contact those interested by email or phone.
