My name is Azumaya Takashi

Azumaya Takashi short C.V.

Born in Mie pref. Japan, in 1968. Completed an MA at Panting Dept. in Tokyo University of the Fine Art and Music. Besides involving the Exhibition dealing the contemporary Art, has organized many events of the performing arts, improvised music, experimental films, videos and so on at Setagaya Art Museum in Tokyo from 1994 to 99. Has been active as an independent curator and contributing to the magazines after that. Organized the exhibitions such as “Art Domestic: Temperature of the Time” at Setagaya Art museum, Tokyo in 1999, “Op-trance!” at Kirin Plaza Osaka in 2001, “Gundam generating Futures” at Suntory Museum, Ohsaka and The Royal Museum at Tokyo in 2005, and also several individual exhibition of the Japanese artists Ohtake Shinro, Higashionna Yuichi, Hanayo and others. Involving the domestic and foreign projects “Yokohama 2001: International Triennale of the Contemporary Arts,”　“Media City Seoul 2002” and others.
Involving the preparation for Busan Biennale held from upcoing September 6.
