Chelsea FC (English Only)コミュのBelletti signed for Chelsea

New Chelsea signing Juliano Belletti has set his sights on wining silverware in his first season in England following his arrival from Barcelona.

The 31-year-old Brazil defender agreed a three-year contract at Stamford Bridge on Thursday after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee believed to be around the £4million mark.

JULIANO BELLETTI Chelsea turned their attention to the international right-back - who scored the winning goal in the 2006 Champions League final against Arsenal - after seeing a fresh bid for Sevilla's Daniel Alves rejected by the Spanish club.

"It has all been a great surprise," he told Chelsea TV.

"Just yesterday I talked with Chelsea. We reached an agreement and so did Chelsea and Barcelona with no problem.

"I am a typical Brazilian full-back. I like to get forward up the wing.

"I know a bit about what the Premier League is like.

"I know it's a tough league but I'm coming here with plenty of ambitions and desire. I want to win trophies."

Belletti had been with Barca for just over three years, having moved to the Camp Nou from Villarreal in the summer of 2004.
