pdfX12には直接的には関係はないのですが、
個人的には大発見でしたので（笑）こちらに掲載させていただきます。

また、これからポルトガルへ行く！
というご予定のある方には参考にしていただければ幸いです。

ポルトガルで、リスボンに次ぐ大きさの都市、ポルトには、
Centro Português de Fotografiaという写真センターがあります。
ポルトガル第二の都市とはいえ、そんなに大きくはない都市ですので、
そこに、このセンターがあるというのは素敵だなぁと思います。
どうやら常時３，４種類の展示を行っているようです。
（報道色が強い展示が多いように思えましたが、それが意図なのかは分かりかねます…）
また、最上階にはアンティークのカメラも数多く展示されていましたので、
興味のある方には面白いかと思います。

そして、私が行った際には、運良く
"34 olhares contra o esquecimento"
というphotojournalism関連の展示が開催されていたのですが、
衝撃的で、その場を離れられなくなりました。
残念ながら1/10までだったようですが、機会があれば是非見ていただきたいものです。
各国を回っているようですが、一応英訳は読んでみたものの、
私も詳しいことはよく分からないので、
何か情報があれば、ぜひ教えてください！

Until January 10, 2008, the exhibition" 34 glances against the forgetfulness" is patent in the Portuguese Center of Picture, in Porto. This exhibition has as objectivo to alert the civil association for the precarious life conditions in that millions of people live all over the world.

The exhibition" 34 glances against the forgetfulness", created by the French delegation of Doctors of the World, it conjugates images and testimonies that portray and reflectem about the forgotten populations and the responsibility of each one of us, political, journalists, humanitarian workers, society in general.

This exhibition results of an invitation done by Doctors of the World - France to several agencies and renowned fotojornalistas so that they chose among his/her portfolio a picture that, for them, it went a forgotten symbol of populations. Of this invitation, they resulted 34 images, that are faces, situations or forgotten symbols of populations. Several journalists and humanitarian workers completed this work of memory, writing testimonies of lived situations or and/or reflections on the causes of this forgetfulness.

It is with the objectivo of mobilizing the public opinion for the populations forgotten that the exhibition" 34 glances against the forgetfulness" saw the light of the day in 2006, during the Festival "Visa pour l'image" of Perpignan. The exhibition was presented in Paris, for occasion of the White Night 2007, in what were the first stage of an European tourné 2007-2008 of sensitization and of the citizens' mobilization and of the political actores of six European countries (Portugal, Belgium, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Kingdom-united).

In Portugal, the exhibition was presented in the Assembly of the Republic, in the Dining hall of the Friars, in the past 22 on November 29. During the inauguration cocktail, they were present more than a hundred of people, among the ones which Clayish Maria, Teresa Xadonné, attached General secretary of the Assembly of the Republic, and Thorsten Muench, of the department of Humanitarian Acção of the European Commission (ECHO), and several deputies of different political quadrants. The exhibition is now in the Portuguese Center of Picture, in Porto, until January 10, 2008, could be seen by the public in general.

As he/she refers the president of MdM-France, to "visit the exhibition" 34 glances against the Forgetfulness" won't be a course easy to accomplish. It is not treated of a neutral exhibition that can travel without emotion. The risk - the invitation - it is after all that, to the exit, the visitor-citizens show, also them, against the forgetfulness."
