We are seeking a full-time photojournalist to produce strong, compelling images on a daily basis for our Cox Ohio Southwest Group newspapers including two dailies (The Hamilton JournalNews and the Middletown Journal with between 20,000 and 25,000 circulation each) and four weeklies (The Pulse Journal, The Fairfield Echo, The Western Star, and The Oxford Press). Hamilton, Ohio, the hub of many of our operations is within commuting distance of Cincinnati, Ohio. You will be joining a staff of six full-time photojournalists and one part-time shooter. The position will offer benefits including health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and a 401K. Cox Publishing also owns the Palm Beach Post, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Austin Statesmen, the Dayton Daily News, and many others allowing for plenty of growth potential. We would like to have this position filled in a few weeks, and have the new hire working in a month or so. So, please get back to me as soon as possible if you are interested.
For those of you who are not local, our Butler County coverage area offers a variety of towns and cities to live in. Also, many areas in the county have excellent school districts. If you are serious about the position and are offered the job, our staff will do their best to help the new hire find a place to live quickly.
