Hello, people on Mixi. My name is Emily, I'm Chinese-American from New York City, currently double majoring in dramatic writing and history at New York University (NYU). I have never taken a Japanese lesson, therefore my Japanese is very basic. Within this past month, however, I managed to teach myself how to read and write hiragana and katakana (hence why I can navigate Mixi). I hope to learn Japanese from native speakers. If you're interested in doing language-exchange with me, I am more than happy to do so. I'm a native English and Chinese speaker, also I speak a little bit of Korean. In my free time I practice Chinese calligraphy, draw, belly dance, and play with my cat. Please feel free to hit me up!
