Well, officially, that version of James Bond was a parody and not a true part of the series, so most Bond lists don't include him (even though he played "James Bond").
However, I have seen some trivia programs trip up contestants with the question "who was the second actor to play 'James Bond' on film" to which the contestant answers "Lazenby" only to get it "wrong" because the answer they are looking for is "Niven" (I love trick questions on game shows).
Actually, my favs are Connery and Moore just because those are the ones I watched growing up (even though the Connery movies were filmed before I was born).

They all suck. James Bond is a terrible secret agent. He always gets himself into barely escapable situations that usually result in some woman getting killed and a whole bunch of stuff getting blown up and destroyed. If he was a really good secret agent, he would be able to stop the bad guys' plans without ever finding himself tied to a table with a laser beam threatening to slice him in half, or dangling over a pool of sharks.
I like Daniel Craig the most.
Well, actually Ive only seen him and the ex Bond...ah, I forgot his name. I thought it's kind of funny seeing the ex ones. He doesnt look like a secret agent at all to me and he's aweful at acting James Bond XD But his movies are okay, I like them.
And I like Daniel Craig's Bond the most. I think his Bond is so realistic. Even though he looks a bit scary but that's okay :D He's a good actor. Ive enjoyed watching his two movies so far.

Ha ha - maybe you are right... but by that measure, Sydney Bristow (Alias) was also a terrible secret agent, and Adam West's Batman was a terrible super hero for the same reason -- they always seemed to get caught (I could name numerous other crime fighters with the same "get-captured-then-escape' motif). Perhaps their true skill was the ability to somehow NOT get themselves killed episode after episode.
