I just wanna ask all of your native speaker. This is utterly hard to make out. Have you ever seen the word, silvercord? I found it on English-Japanese dictionary. It was said that means an embirical cord or a bond that connects a mother and her children. I was fond of this sound. However, when I confirmed if it is used sure enough among the natives, she ,who is from NZ, didn't know it. Why does it exist only in English-Japanese dictionary? Everybody who knows the fact, tell me the truth please.
"Silver cord" is not a 'recognised' word so to speak - its slang.
Just because it is in a English-Japanese dictionary does not mean it is something that everyone would know (as these often contain weird words, and also often have incorrect or inaccurate meanings).
"Silver cord" comes from the Bible. I think it's from the book of Ecclesiastes. It's basically a term used to describe the supposed "thread" that connects the body with the spirit. When the cord is broken, the spirit returns to God, etc.
I've never heard of it, but it sounds a little like
a more mystical version of the red thread from Japanese
folklore.
Personally I wouldn't recommend you use it. If 6
people, all from different countries haven't heard it,
you will probably just confuse people if you say it.
