Post-clubbing day, spending my time lying around watching film (40 year old virgin, followed by Aeon flux, and now death to smoochy). Dying of starvation, but too lazy to go to the combini opposite my house for onigiri. What is your fave. finger food?

That's what gets me by on the "day after"...
Which coincidentally I'm on right now too, my films for the day have been ;
SNAKE EYES (got it 990Yen last week), ELEPHANT (long time no see), SNIPER, and now I'm about to think about putting FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS on...
...>
Choco-balls and snickers are amazing. Another fave is sandwiches. Peppered Salami plus olive oil... Yum. As for Snapples... Yum, imported goods.
I haven't seen Snake eyes yet, but I really like the director. I wonder whether it is worth watching...
Funky Love Bunny>
No brekkie?? The most important meal of the day? lol
I completely forgot about the existence of beans on toast! Used to eat it when I was in the UK. lol Funky, I didn't know Australians eat beans on toast as well.
3> yeah SNAKE EYES kind of went quietly under the radar when it came out. It's not a classic, but very slick, and you'd expect nothing less from Brian DePalma.
Another DePalma classic (for style) is RAISING CAINE...
This and MISSION IMPOSSIBLE (one) are two excellent examples of how DePalma loves to play with time, memory, and perspective...
You can kind of see it in SNAKE EYES but honestly the best parts of SNAKE EYES are not really the narrative - although as I said it's very slick...
DePalma just manages to take a very modern subject, characters, and genre (action movie) and make the whole thing feel like you're watching some Hitchcock gem....
Plus you got Nick Cage doing some of his best overacting work since WILD AT HEART...
Check it out if you get the chance, but THE BLACK DAHLIA is DePalma's newest film so you might want to go to that instead. Most people didn't like it as much as they wanted to, but for me it was good. I need to give it a second watch though as I had to see it the first time after much alcohol and all I can really remember is going off on a tangent in my head about Scarlett Johanssen not really suiting Louis Vitton and oh shit her tits are so good etc...
Very beautiful girl...
I can recommend SNAKE EYES though...
(but there's no Scarlett Johanssen, unfortunately)
I like celery with peanut butter....but that
takes effort (i.e. going to the shops to buy
the celery and the peanut butter).
Maybe my favourite finger food is Arnotts Sao
biscuits (crackers) with home grown tomato a
little onion and pepper.
After a big night you can't go past a lamb
kebab. Kebab shops are like the pilot fish
of pubs, there is always one close by when
you leave the pub. Anyway nothing better than
a lamb kebab with white sauce, cheese and
tabouli. Either that or hot chips with vinegar.
