Hi guys, thanks for taking part in this community! I hope this community will be helpful/enjoyable for you.

I would like you to write a bit about yourself here. I thought that might help you to socialize with other people here.

I'll start with mine here:

So, hi, my name is Yuji, graduated from the university a year ago. For the given questions,

1. I live in Kobe but a week later I will live in Hamamatsu.
2. I was born in Kobe and brought up in Kobe as well. I used to live in Germany for a year when I was eight.
3. I love Slavic culture!
4. Playing the piano, playing soccer... on winter I often go ice skating.
5. I have sweet theeth! Please tell me where I can have the best cake!

Hi, everybody! I guess I would like to introduce myself here - maybe we can hang out someday!

1. Where(Which part of Kansai) do you live now?

Now I am staying at Sannomiya. I just visited my friend so I could leave in some weeks. If you have time, maybe we can hang out with my friend?

2. Where were you originaly from?

I am originaly from Ukraine and I live in Lviv with my brother. :)))

3. What especially do you like about Japan?

I like my special friend. :D
I am also interested in Murakami Haruki.

4. What do you do on weekends usually?

I... usually play with cats... or go out for a walk... or visit my granny. Sometimes I hang out with my friends.

5. Anything else that you like.

I don't know... maybe you can ask me. :))
I am happy to have comments from you, but I like COMMENTS better! Because the messages are private and some people write me not nice things... :( So, comments are better. :P

i'm Korean...i live in Korea..
but i have Japanese girlfriend..I can't speak Japanese well.i do speak..just little bit^^i've been to England for 1year 6month.so i speak English..not very well..but much better than Japanese.i often visit Japan!to see my girlfriend and another friends~I like all Japanese foods~
so I'd like to learn Japanese~

Thanks for your introduction! Having a girlfriend or a boyfriend from different country would definitely help you to learn its language. Hope you can have some useful information about learning Japanese or finding freinds!

Hello everybody!

My name is Dara and I am living in Sydney, Australia. Next year, I will be living in Osaka because I am going to study abroad there!

I love almost everything about Japan, especially Kansai people!

I've been to Osaka, Shiga, and Kyoto this year in January and I think that they are such lovely and wonderful people! I also like Kansai dialect very much! I love Japanese food, Japanese music, Japanese tv dramas, Japanese fashion, everything!

I'd like to learn more about Kansai region, so I am happy that this community exists.

There's an international church named J-house in Osaka, there are some Americans, and possibly from CA.

Thanks for your enthusiasum towards Kansai, this community will be supported by kind of people like you!

And also thanks very much for your kind message, I will definitely write you back soon. :)

Although I live in Kansai, and although I have the willingness to know more about Kansai and Japan, I still don't comprehand well about our region and cultrue: and that's why I thought about making this community, to ask for help. So make any topics or events please! I want everybody to be involved.

I live in fabulous Nishinomiya-shi!

2. Where were you originaly from?
I'm from America. I was born in Chicago, but also lived in Seattle and near Los Angeles.

3. What especially do you like about Japan?
I love the Kansai area. Kansai-ben is great, the people are friendly, and the food is awesome!

4. What do you do on weekends usually?
I hang out with my friends, study Japanese and Chinese, go shopping, and make designs.

5. Anything else that you like.
I love the Hanshin Tigers!

1. I currently don't live in Japan, but I hope to some day :). I was in Japan last month for three weeks and this has made me want to move to Japan so badly. I have no idea where to start though.

2. I currently live in Huddersfield, England which is based near Manchester and Leeds.

3. The culture, the food, how nice the people are.

4. I go out with friends and relax. Also try to learn as much Japanese as I can.

5. I want to learn as much Japanese as possible as I love to do graphic design. I would love to do design in Japan as I currently a designer in England. I want to learn more so please help :).
