Movie EnglishコミュのOf Mice and Men

Today we watched "Of Mice and Men".
John Malkovich was very good as "Lenny".
This movie is an adaptation of John Steinbeck's book.
They did a very good job making this very good book into a very good movie.
When you watch it, notice the many places where Steinbeck used "foreshadowing" in the story.

I was moved when I watched the movie.
I was so sad because they couldn't make their dream come true.
What they wanted to do was just living in a farm together.

The scene that George had to kill his best friend, Lenny
made me almost cry.
If I were George, I couldn't kill Lenny like what he did
even if I thought that was the better way for Lenny,
I still don't want to say that was the best way, though.

This movie made me think a lot.

Yes, the story really makes you think about things. In life we often have to make hard choices. Sometimes we have to do things we don't want to do because we know that it is really for the best.
This story also shows us how small choices and little mistakes can lead to big problems.
