I'm a 21 year old guy from England and I'll be studying at a Japanese university this year. When I was 18 I went on a home stay to Japan, before that at the age of 16 I studied Japanese by my self then join a college to study. When I left I saved to go to Japan and teach English. While I was there I wanted to study a traditional activity so started to study Japanese tea. When I stated it seemed boring and hard to understand but as I continued to study I got more fun. I'm not sudying at the moment but I want to carry on when I go to Japan again.

Hello Eric and everybody,
I've been practicing chado quite a few years, and chado always makes me think about what I don't think in usual life. I moved to NY 4 years ago and didn't have chance to practice since then, but fortunately I met my master practice since then, but fortunately I found my master in NY recently. I'd love to tell also in English how interesting chado is!
マヤサン>It sound like you love chado. My teacher visits new York from to time do you know 辻野先生? I hope you can help none Japanese to understand what is interesting about chado. 何か質問あればどうぞを聞きください。
エリックさん、コメントありがとうございます。辻野先生はお会いしたことないです。私は裏千家なのですが、
Urasenke in NYC branch is so crowded that I have to wait until there is a vacancy for students. My master is practicing there. Did you enjoy "Hatsu-gama" for new year? I couldn't join this time.....
