神棚に奉げられた一匹のいわし。
That was one iwashi fish…

突然の揺れでバランスを崩したいわし君は畳みの上に落っこちてしもうた。
The sudden tremble made iwashi fish fall to the tatami mat!!
以前から服に憧れていたいわしくん。散らかった服が嫌いな畳くん。二人は意気投合
Since iwashi fish had ached for clothes, and tatami mat had hated the messy clothes,
they got along so well soon!!
その日からいわし君の妖怪たたみいわしとしての生活が始まった。
From that day, the new life as a tatami iwashi monster had started.

その日からいわし君の妖怪たたみいわしとしての生活が始まった。
From that day, the new life as a tatami iwashi monster had started.
妖怪となり１２年目の春、たみ吉は大学に合格。
心配したたたみいわしもついていくことにしたのじゃった。
In the 12th spring, tamikichi could pass the entrance examination for the University.
Because tatami iwashi was anxious about tamikici’s new life, he decided to follow him.
憧れの大学生活。しかし、たみ吉は「魚くせえ」と言われ上手く馴染めずにおったそうな。
A longed-for new life has started, however, Tamikchi could not get along with friends
because he smelled like fish…
イライラしたたみ吉は支えていてくれたたみ吉に、「お前のせいでこうなったんだ！」「でていけ！」
Tamikichi was so irritated, and finally he said what shouldn't be said….
“It’s your fuckin’fault!!!” “Now, you get out of here!”
たたみいわしは悲しくてたまらなかった。
Tatami iwashi was really shocked and felt soooo sad…
たたみいわしはたみ吉の元を去り、上京することにした。
He decided to break off with Tamikichi and moved to TOKYO.

いつの間にか、たたみいわしはヒーローになっておった。

そして、たたみわしが都会へ行ったことを知り、かけつけた
