NIH Early Career Funding

Join us for this seminar by NIH Program Policy Officer and Acting NIH Research Training Officer, Henry Khachaturian, PhD. This seminar will primarily discuss K awards and training grants for fellows and early career scientists.

Dr. Khachaturian has a PhD in Neuroscience and has served at the NIH since 1998, including 4 years as Training Director at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and 4 years as Training Director at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). Since 2004 he has served in several Program Policy positions in the Office of the Director of the NIH, both in the Division of Intramural Research and the Division of Extramural Research. For his dedication to the NIH and public service, Dr. Khachaturian has received numerous awards including two NIH Director’s Awards.
