Announcing the 2008 Summer Music Series on the HMS Quad

The Office of the Dean invites you to take a break from your research, patients, paperwork, and other tasks to enjoy three concerts on the HMS Quad. Sit back, relax and enjoy some music with your colleagues on these three dates:

*Wednesday, June 25 at noon
Paul Stagnaro and the Berklee Latin Jazz All-Stars

*Wednesday, July 16th at 4:00 pm
The Underground String Quartet

*Wednesday, July 30 at noon
Eddie Scheer and The Love Dogs

Concert 1: Wednesday, June 25th, 12:00 on the Quad Paulo Stagnaro and the Berklee Latin Jazz All-Stars. Paulo Stagnaro is a percussionist and composer. His band, LaTimbistica, aka Berklee Latin Jazz All-Stars, made its debut in Boston this spring, and is following up with performances in the Boston area and at venues across the U.S. To listen to samples, go to: http://profile.myspace.com/paulostagnaro <http://profile.myspace.com/paulostagnaro>
*The rain date for this concert is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10th at 12 on the Quad.

Concert 2: Wednesday, July 16th, 4:00 on the Quad The Underground String Quartet. Tomoko Iwamoto and her quartet play jazz, classical and acoustic violin and viola. *In case of rain, this concert will move to the Courtyard Café.

Concert 3: Wednesday, July 30th, 12:00 on the Quad Eddie Scheer and his band, The Love Dogs, combine elements of jump blues, New Orleans R&B and early rock 'n' roll into their own powerhouse sound.
