In a manga magazine, "JUMP," Mr. Chiba Akio's "Captain" was serialized and made baseball more popular to increase the number of baseball-playing children. It's said that Ichiro also loved to read Captain. The Japanese baseball has become so strong that they won two successive championships in the WBC.

Mr. Yoichi Takahashi's "Captain Tsubasa" was also serialized in the "JUMP" to make soccer more popular. The Japanese soccer has become so strong that they won a victory in the World Cup. It's said that Mr. Hidetoshi Nakata also loved to read Captain Tsubasa.

After that Mr. Takehiko Inoue's "Slam Dunk" was also serialized in the "JUMP" to make basketball more popular. The Japanese professional basketball league is also becoming strong. I hope that the Japanese basketball may beat the NBA to become No.1 in the world in the near future.
