RATOxRATO 2008 LIVE SCHEDULE

How it all began...
RATOxRATO first formed in 2007, when "Nezumi Kozo" (RAT) first met his friend "RAT" at S&S Sound Shop in Gotanda Tokyo. The two rats quickly became friends. They spent time discussing their mutual love for the band RIZE, and their love for RIZE is what made them such good friends.
Language was a problem at first, because Nezumi Kozo couldnt speak any Japanese, and RAT couldnt speak any english. But this friendship taught the two a lesson in life, you dont need to understand each others language because in the end, laughter is the same in any language! Since meeting in 2007, the two Rats have remained good friends.
On July 19, 2008, RATOxRATO performed live for the first time at the HOUSE OF JUGGALOS VOL.2 event in Shibuya at the club GIG-ANTIC. Their performance was really interesting, considering they had never practiced together before the event. Their first live show was their first practice, the ultimate test in whether or not they would be a successful team or not. Fortunately for RATOxRATO, everyone really enjoyed their set, even though they free-styled the entire show. Perhaps that is what the crowd enjoyed the most, a freestyle in english, mixed with a freestyle in japanese, combined with DJ Emil who freestyle scratched on the turn tables.
RATOxRATO has a real positive vibe, even though most of their songs are hentai. RATOxRATO respects each other's culture. What began as a US/JAPAN collaboration in 2007, quickly became a JAPANESE/AMERICAN/FILIPPINO collaboration with the recent addition of DJ Emil in 2008.

Currently, the comedy rap duo is working on recording a new album, but it is difficult for them to find time to record because RAT is busy working at S&S SOUNDSHOP in Gotanda, and Nezumi Kozo lives in California, and DJ Emil lives in Osaka/Philippines. RATOxRATO plans on releasing their first demo tape on the internet for free in 2008. RATOxRATO doesnt care about the fame and $$fortune\\ that comes from being in a rap group. The only thing these guys care about is laughing, and entertaining the crowd! The most important thing for these guys is to have fun!
