一見、簡単そうなのに、いざ英語で表現しようとすると、困ってしまう。言いたいのに、どう言えばいいのかわからない。そんな表現をいかに英語にするか、学んでいけたら面白いなぁ、とおもっています。
I often encounter a situation or feeling that I cannot express in English, even though they seem easy for me to do so. I made this community to discuss and learn how to describe them. When you have something that you cannot describe in English, please write here so that we can discuss it. I would like you to give ideas to the questions.
I will be also happy if Japanese learners join this community so that we can think about the difference between English and Japanese. Please give us what you cannot express in Japanese with precise description of the situation in English.

【基本ルール】
I. トピック作成に関して：
1. 趣旨（言えそうで言えない英語を考える）
にそう限り、自由に作成してください。
2. タイトルはわかりやすくお願いします。
「質問です」ではなく、
「〜について」など内容がわかるように。
3.「英文和訳」は、趣旨に反する場合があります。
英語でこういう表現があるけど、日本語では
何ていうの？といった場合、OKです。
4. 他の方を攻撃するような発言はしないようお願いします。
思いやりを持った発言をしてください。
II. イベントについて：
以下の条件を満たす限り、ご自由に掲載してください。ただし、参加される方は、各自の責任においてお願いします。
1. 英語・英会話に関する
2. 利益を求めない
III. おすすめレビューについて：
コミュニティの趣旨にそう本、あるいは英語（言語・文化など含む）に関する本・CDなどをご紹介ください。
おかげさまで、50,000人を超える大所帯になりました。ルールを守ってご利用いただきたいと思います。趣旨に沿わないものなどを見つけ次第、削除させていただく場合があります。ご了承ください。よろしくお願いします。

For those who want to introduce books etc:
Please feel free to do so, as long as what you are introducing is about/on English, international cultures etc that help others learn English.
I am writing down several rules here clearer than it was, because the number of attendees is increasing and I want conversations between us can go smoothly. I may get rid of topics giving that they are out of the purpose of this community. Thank you for your understanding.
