イギリスはウェールズ出身の５ピースインディーズバンド。
メンバーは Gareth Jones(Vo.)、Peter Roberts(Gt.)、Kris Blight(Ba.)、John Maloney(Dr.)、Ian Russell(Keys)。
バンド名は、Robots in the Sky → Tetra Splendour と変遷を経て現在の People in Planes に至る。Tetra Splendour 時代にも一枚アルバムを出しています。
Evanescence らを擁する Wind-up Records 所属。
