Big match is still a few hours away. Chelsea's come out pretty strong thus far, but are suffering from the absence of a few of their better players.
Likewise, Liverpool's started the season well thus far, but will also be struggling with players--Gerrard is having a pain-killing injection just for the game. I think it'd be a bad move to put him in and risk hurting him further so early in the season.
One thing is for sure--it's going to be an electric game!
yeah, way too many for one half...then again, these two teams really don't like each other so I guess it makes sense
If I were Mourinho, I'd be yelling at the team for waiting too long to fire up and start fighting. Benitez is probably telling the boys to keep going strong, but to calm it down with the fouls.
Some how I don't think the rough play is going to let up very much, though...lol
Anyway, it's typical british football, lots of contact, I like it, but I don't like Torres going down to get a foul, Robben is exactly the same kind of player, really good with the ball, but going down too easly, I prefere guys like Malouda that is just holding the ball and powerful.
Chelsea back on the track with a goal from Frank Lampard. That's 1-1 now with 25minutes left.
Chelsea looks good, but a bit limited at the back, Chelsea are really badly missing Carvalho.
Next big game is Manchester Utd - Tottenham!!! Man Utd are not looking good at all, and a game against Tottenham is not the best way to get back on track.
I like Tottemham, they're scrappy and usually give their opponents a rough go.
I feel pretty good about the way things are shaping up, and Torres is looking quite promising. I'd love to have a healthy Gerrard, and to see a bit more of Crouch.
The best strategy so far just seems to hope for ManU's failure while the season is early and we still have time to win other games.
