Nowadays Japanese women who wear Kimono are very few.
Kimono isn't functional in modern life. The method of
wearing Kimono is difficult, and so many young women
can't wear Kimono by themselves.

There are specialists who help for young women to wear
Kimono. Japanese men always wear same suits, but I
think that suits don't match with Japanese men,
because the build of Japanese men is different from
that of European men.

But now men and women have worn same clothes as
European style. Clothes have been changing even in
European countries. Now it's said that the era is
globalism. Globalism is the life style of USA and
European countries.

Of course we need the global standard in all areas,
but at the same time we should keep our traditional
culture. I think that Kimono is very important
Japanese culture, because it matches very well with
a tea ceremony, flower arrangement, playing Koto and
so on.
