私は今Ｍａｋａｔａｎａの村かその近辺に新居、
私自身でやってゆける小さな家、を探している処です。
I am now looking for a new home in or near the village of Matakana; a small place that I can manage on my own.
これから数ヶ月の間にＲａｉｎｂｏｗ Ｖａｌｌｅｙ Ｆｏｕｎｄａｔｉｏｎ（慈善トラスト）を立ち上げる積もりです。Ｊｏｅの創作した技術や道具のコレクション
をこのファウンデーションに寄贈しライブラリー式にして閲覧できる様にしたいと考えています。ファウンデーションはパーマカルチャー教育、調査研究および情報の普及に焦点を当て、将来は奨学金を供与出来る様にしたいものです。ファウンデーションの事を考えると気持ち実に高ぶりますし、心中深く満足できるプロジェクトだと思っています。
Within the next few months I will set up the Rainbow Valley Foundation (a charitable trust). I intend to vest Joe’s collection of appropriate technology and hand tools into the Foundation to be available as in a library. The Foundation will focus on permaculture education, research and dissemination of information and will work towards providing scholarships in the future. I am really excited about the Foundation and I think it will be a deeply satisfying project.
私の踝の骨折と腱断裂は快癒に向かっています。漸く車椅子から開放され、杖をつきながら再び歩けるようにと練習中です。
体の不自由な3 1/2月が終わり気分爽快です!
I am pleased to report that my fractured ankle and ruptured tendons are healing. I am finally out of a wheelchair and on crutches, learning to walk again. Very exciting after 3 ½ months of being incapacitated!
私の希望は近いうちに時間を作ってＪｏｅと私がいつも書きたいと思っていた本ーＲａｉｎｂｏｗ Ｖａｌｌｅｙ Ｆａｒｍ物語、私たちの物語ーを書くことです。
Soon I hope to have time to write the book, the one Joe and I always wanted to write – the Rainbow Valley Farm story, our story.
すべての友人たちやご家族の方々、これまでの困難な歳月を
通して頂いてきた愛とご支援に感謝いたします。お陰様でやり通せてきました。この感謝の気持ちは永遠です。
I want to thank all our friends and family for your love and support over the past difficult years. It got me through and I will be forever grateful.
