New Owners of Rainbow Valley Farm
ファームの購入者はＷｉｋｉ ＷａｌｋｅｒとＣｅｄｒｉｃ Ｈｏｃｋｅｙに決定しました。2010年11月に譲り渡します。ＷｉｋｉとＣｅｄｒｉｃはＪｏｅとTrishが始めた本事業を継続するとの強い意向です。
The farm has been purchased by Wiki Walker and Cedric Hockey, who will take over in November 2010. Wiki and Cedric intend to continue the work that Joe and Trish started.
皆様、ファームが良い方々に継承される事を私たちと共に喜んでください。ＷｉｋｉとＣｅｄｒｉｃお二人がファームの将来につきヴィジョンを次の様に語っています：
We know that you will all celebrate with us that the farm will pass into good hands. Below in their own words is Wiki and Cedric's vision for the farm's future:
「私たちはこのファームを継続事業として運営してゆきたいと思っていす。それは引き続き敷地からの収穫物を販売し、またこの場所で培われてきた理念、実践、エネルギーなどの教育を継続し、且つそれを他の人々と分かち合う事を続けるという意味です。私たちの夢は原産の鳥のサンクチュアリとして森を守り整備することです。
"Our intention is to operate the farm as an ongoing concern. This is in terms of continuing the sale of produce from the land and the capacity to educate and share with others the concept, practices and energies which have been embedded in the land. Our dream is also to covenant the forest and to develop it as a native bird sanctuary.
先ず第一に、私たちは自らをＫａｉｔｉａｋｉ−即ちこの地の世話人であり保護者ーと思っています。ＪｏｅとＴｒｉｓｈの美しい家と土地は芸術作品であり、創造性を具現したものです。私たちはＪｏｅとＴｒｉｓｈがＲａｉｎｂｏｗ Ｖａｌｌｅｙで既に造り上げたものを大切に手入れをし更に充実させて行きたいと思っています。敷地（whenua)を歩き、お二人の夢、情熱及び勤労のエネルギーを感じることが出来るのは光栄な事です。
Foremostly we see ourselves as kaitiaki - caretakers and guardians of the land. Joe & Trish’s beautiful home and land is a work of art, an expression of creativity. Our intention is to continue to care for and to enhance what Joe & Trish have already achieved at Rainbow Valley. It has been an honour to have walked on the whenua and feel the energies of their dreams, passion and hard work.
