それと、Gary Chandlerは、Martin Orfordといっしょに6月にライブ演奏（House ｃoncert）を行うようです。Jadis、IQ、Martin Orfordのソロの曲、それにカバーなどを選んで演奏する予定。
アナウンスの内容は↓のとおり。
I'm pleased to announce that Gary Chandler and Martin Orford have joined forces again after a long
absence to play a House concert on Saturday June 7th.
This will be a rare opportunity to hear a selection of Jadis and IQ material from both bands considerable back catalogue.
They will also be playing songs from Martins solo albums and giving their spin on a few well known cover versions.

いくつかの曲で、いろんな大胆なアレンジを試みたようで、
「Corners」では、キーボードを全く使わず、メロディオンというボタン式の
アコーディオンのような楽器を使用し、自分でも驚くほどうまくいった、とおっしゃっていました。

あと、「Here Comes The Flood」は、MatinがリードＶｏをとり、Garyがハモっています。
全体的に、６月の１回目の時よりもずっとうまくいって大盛況だった、とのことでした。

I have been working on some new tunes for the 'Medium rare 2' cd that I promised to have available
last year..well that deadline has truly passed now.It would appear that all the basket weaving and cat
rustling that I have being doing since January has taken more time that it should have. I have also
been learning how to spoon feed tamarinds to shy goats...very rewarding indeed. Martin is going to play some piano parts on a new tune as well as redo a few keyboard parts for the remix of 'No Sacrifice'
.I wil upload some video of us recording keyboards and drums on the new material soon but in the
meantime here is a video I put together for the instrumental track 'Nowhere near the truth' .

このライブでMartinはシターンというギターに似た古楽器を演奏したそうで、
「Carpet Crawlers 」 「Solsbury Hill 」 「Wish You Were Here 」でそれを使用した、
とのことです。
(シターンはヨーロッパの古楽器で、インドのシタールとは別物)
また、一部で使用されたハーディ・ガーディは、去年Martinが購入したもので、
正確には「エレクトリック・ハーディ・ガーディ」なんだそうです。
だんだん使用楽器がマニアックになっていく〜〜(笑)
来年は(やるとしたら)何をやるんだろう。
