A new project is starting as a "multicultural singing circle".
The singing circle will focus on participation, confidence building and making connections with people.
We are looking for participants of all cultures represented in Northern Ireland.
We will promote the learning and singing of traditional Irish songs as well as 'traditional songs' representing all participants' cultures.
You don’t need to speak good English, or to be a good singer, to take part. Everybody will be learning songs from languages which are not theirs. Music is a universal language!
And its more about learning about cultures and meeting people, than singing the perfect note!
Starting : Monday 30th April 2007
Run every Monday night until the end of June.
Where: An Droichead Cultural Centre, 20 Cooke Street
Time: 6.15pm – 8.15pm
We hope this is something that may interest you and feel this is a great oppurtunity to explore each others culture and music. Hoping to see you here on the 30th.
