In 2004, Steel Partners, a US buy-out fund, pressed Sotoh, a cash-rich textile dyer, and Yushiro Chemical into increasing their dividend more than 10-fold.

全く手に負えないのでしょうか？　いっしー♪さんのレベルがどれくらいなのか分からないので中級程度と仮定して進めます。

undoubtedlyがhas とleft に挟まれてるけど（　）で囲んでしばらく放置しときましょう。
Japan's more open share structure が has left した。何を？ management をです。どんなふうに？more exposed to pressure from shareholders です。　shareholders ってどんな人達？　これに関しての説明が　seeking to maximise profit and raise dividend payments. と分詞構文で追加情報として与えられています。蛇足とは思いますが二つのことをseek しています。raise の前にto があると思って下さい。

あとは難しいことないと思うけど、最後の文かな。

Steel Partnersが主語。これだけじゃ情報不足なのでa US buy-out fund　と補足説明があります。スチールパートナーズが二つの会社をpress しました。何をしろと？increasing their dividend more than 10-fold.
