Wintel SA - Okinawa

1. Hardware Support for HP DL380 / 580 / 585 Servers
VTM (Vulnerability Threat Management)
Vendor management
2. OS Support for Windows 2000 / 2003 Servers
Some knowledge of Active Directory for day to day management of OUs.
Knowledge of monitoring / KPI systems such as HP SIM, Tivoli and BMC.
Providing OS support for critical environments such as Exchange 2007.
3. McAfee ePO Administration
Supporting a large corporate environment segregated into Sites and escalating issues to responsible site administrators when required.
Performing product and patch check-ins.
Troubleshooting McAfee ePO agent and McAfee Virusscan client issues
Supporting HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention Systems)
Working with Global Threat detection teams to respond to threats
4. VMware Virtual Center Administration
Supporting ESX 3.5 / Virtual Center 2.5
VM provisioning
Performing guest OS builds
Creating VM templates, cloning
Some understanding of NetApp NFS file systems would be advantageous
Problem and Capacity Management
5. Some knowledge of scripting in PERL and VBScript, managing SQL 2000 / 2005 databases and Transact SQL would be beneficial.
6. Required to work evenings and weekends when required.
