Japanese Customer Service Advisor – Nightshift
(Full time - 01:00-09:00/02:00-10:00)
Salary: £21.5-£23.5k

We are highly experienced in ecommerce, brimming with ideas and enthusiasm, and incredibly excited about what the future will bring.
Customer acquisition and retention lie at the heart of our success, and we are now on the hunt for an Japanse Customer Service Advisor who will form part of the launch in Japan. You should be fluent in Japanese, passionate about providing excellent service as well as going the extra mile for our customers ensuring they will spread the word.
This is a great opportunity to gain invaluable ecommerce and customer service experience with an online retailer that is enjoying huge growth and is well on track to becoming a large global brand. Full training will be given.
The Role
This is a varied position that will see you handling a range of customer service activities as well as supporting the Country Manager with the launch of the market.
No two days will be the same, but these are your key responsibilities:
-Handle customer queries, refunds, returns and complaints – both over the telephone, chat and via email.
-Proactively resolve all customer queries and problems, involving other people within the business as necessary.
-Follow up on all pending orders with a view to convert them into paid orders.
-Seize opportunities to upsell our products to our customers.
-Proactively engage with the customers on our database.
-Oversee and monitor our TrustPilot reviews.
-At times help with tasks that will grow the market.
The Person
To succeed in this role you will need:
-Previous customer service experience, and ideally, previous sales experience.
-Native level fluency in: Japanese– both written and spoken.
-Bundles of energy and self-drive.
-The initiative and confidence to work independently and a ‘can do’ approach.
-The ability to multi-task, and the drive and energy to consistently deliver on -time.
-The desire to contribute to a fast-paced, growing and demanding business.
-Computer literate (Internet, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
-Excellent problem solving skills.
-Full ownership and responsibility for own tasks.
-Eligible to work in the UK
