I'd like to remind everyone of our very important class rules.
These rules were created so all students of Grupo Bantus Capoeira Japao feel part of a strong team. A group of people dedicated to making themselves better through capoeira.
Today I'm going to remind everyone about Rule 6 from our rule book. It's a simple rule, and states that you must wear Bantus capoeira clothes at class.
If you've been with Bantus Capoeira Japao for more than 1 month and you don't have capoeira pants and a t-shirt, you need to buy some.
If you've been training with Bantus Capoeira Japao more than 3 months, and you don't come to class with your Bantus capoeira t-shirt and pants, YOU CANNOT TAKE THE CLASS!
We will be getting very serious about this rule from now on. So please try your best!
We offer the cheapest capoeira classes in Tokyo (one group charges almost 4 times our class fee, and the class goes for half the time!!!!), and our t-shirts (from 2000yen) and pants (from 4500yen) are also much cheaper than other capoeira groups.
If you are serious about capoeira, then you will understand why we have this rule. You want to look your best when you train & play, and you want your class mates to look their best too!
If you want to buy some capoeira pants or t-shirts, just let us know. We will have a capoeira shop at every first Sunday class of the month. And we also have an online store open 24/7! http://www.cafepress.com/bantusjp
We hope you can understand and respect this rule. Thank you to all our students who already respect this rule, you are helping to make Bantus capoeira a great group.

RULE#6 UNIFORM. All members of GBC Japão are required to purchase and wear the white GBC Japão abada (pants) and white GBC Japão camisa (t-shirt). You must also use a white cord to hold your abadas. If you have been baptized at a GBC batizado, you must wear your current cord. This cord cannot be worn with any other capoeira pants. Members are required to wear the white uniform at all batizados, shows, and special events. Colour malhas (colour workout pants) and camisas (capoeira t-shirts) are acceptable at street rodas, and informal events. All regular students (i.e. non-members training more than one month) must wear either capoeira malhas or white abadas in every capoeira class, roda, or event. Casual pants and t-shirts are acceptable for guests and new students at capoeira classes. In special cases, exceptions will be allowed, and must be discussed with your instructor. http://www.bantus.asn.au/j/pdf/GBCJpRulesRegulations.pdf
Another good reason to wear your capoeira pants and t-shirts every class is because you just never know when a TV crew or journalist is going to come to our class to shoot video/photos for an international news show, or local magazine!
