The NexTone Solutions Engineer will: ·Build strong relationships with NexTone customers while representing NexTone's capabilities using engineering skills with a technical sales approach. ·Act as the primary liaison between customers team and NexTone marketing, product management and engineering teams. ·Interpret and synthesize customer requirements into a NexTone solution that uniquely addresses customer's business needs. ·Maintain the lead technical role with the customer throughout the products lifecycle and beyond. ·Be a strongly motivated self-starter with excellent communication, documentation and analytical skills. ·Experience in designing and deploying complex VoIP networks and strong familiarity with IP, VoIP, SIP, Unix and/or Linux a plus. The ability to travel is required for this position. Responsibilities: Lead and/or participate in onsite and remote customer meetings, presentations, conference calls and online demonstrations of the NexTone product line. Architect customer networks using a variety of tools including but not limited to: ·Visio and PowerPoint ·Perform onsite or remote Linux and Unix based installations for production and evaluation type customers ·Troubleshoot customer issues with a variety of ranges including but not limited to SIP, Linux, UNIX VoIP and IP routing Manage the lifecycle of customer specific software requirements which includes but is not limited to: ·Documentation ·Direct and guide appropriate departments in home office through the lifecycle of product development ·Delivery of product to customer ·Testing with customer to obtain approval ·Train customer on NexTone products and feature sets
