Alpha CRC, a multinational Globalization Company headquartered in Cambridge, UK, is looking for the following personnel for its new Tokyo office.

■One Office Manager with experience of office management in the localization, translation or software industries.

■Experienced technical and marketing translators, for translating and reviewing software and documentation, including marketing materials.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years technical translation experience, or a background in journalism, with knowledge or an interest in architecture or audio, video, film or music production, preferably with a knowledge of nonlinear editing methods.
- Must be assertive and have good understanding of language-specific issues.
- Good communication skills in English required.

■Experienced games translators able to translate everything in the context of games localization:in-game content (descriptions of background, worlds, locations, dialogues), character descriptions, player instructions, documentation, packaging, advertising materials, websites, newsletters, competitions, etc.
- Review translations of colleagues and externals, homogenize style.
- Create product-relevant style guides and glossaries. - Provide feedback to translator teams Assess difficulties of specific texts, or sections.
- Must be assertive and have good understanding of language-specific issues.
- Good communication skills in English required.
