英詩ワークショップコミュのIntroduce your music

It looks like we have a lot of musicians in this community, so I thought it'd be cool to hear what everyone plays. Do you have a band? Are you a solo artist? What do you write about?

I am the singer in a band called DAMIEN. We play rock influenced by the UK sound (I especially like early new wave bands like echo and the bunnymen, the cure, new order, u2), classic rock, and maybe a little grunge.

The members are Hal and Rod (also in the POTIONS) and Ryosuke, who is an excellent drummer. I write all our songs. Some of our songs:

Rubicon On
Emergency
Only You
Human Condition
The Man Makes the Times
Neurotransmitter
Slow Down

I always sing in English, because I tried writing in Japanese before and it was . . well, ダサイ。(I wish I could write good Japanese lyrics, maybe someday.) My songs are about trying to keep your sanity in life, even as everything spins out of control . . and some love songs as well.

We play at Ruby Room in Shibuya a lot, and we have a show on May 19th at Club Liner in Koenji.

So . . please introduce your music. 日本語でもいいよー！

I'm not a musician, but can you please post the lyrics for Neurotransmitter?

Is the song about neuroscience?

Or am I just daft?
