i might. we still got 2 & 1/2 months to think
about it, don't we? I don't see any deadlines
for reservations on their website, but are we
suppose to call YC&AC directly?
by the way Tonko, I met Nikki Eymard on the bus
today but she didn't know about the dinner dance.
says her brother hasn't told her about it yet.

I think you need to contact Boon.
I went to the St. Joes community on mixi and someone replied to your commnet saying you will need to make reservations.
I sent out an email to the Eymard family yesterday.
I also sent one to Nickie to her PC but I will forward the notice to her cell as well.
This came in email, but is also posted on their website.

I'm Boon's sister and this time I can't go to this reunion
but please go if possible. I believe there won't be many
Santa Maria graduates.
Kanilea san, よろしくね。I believe you graduated from Chaminade
and my brother Boon also graduated from Chaminade in '70.
If you have chance at the reunion please talk to him. I'll
tell him about you.

i've sent notices to many at an very early stage, and
the responses were a good one. they said they'd be
looking forward to it, would be bringing their friends.
but they might not be aware of the deadline (it just
says about the payment deadline, didn't it?) so maybe
i'd better send them a reminder.
>violetさん
Please send your friends a reminder noting the deadline. I'm trying to get more people to attend but the responses aren't very good from my classmates and younger.
先ほどムリを言ってlovely-sanのお兄さんにdeadlineのextensionをもらいました。November 7 will be the very final deadline!!! So for all those who didn't know what their schedule would be like in November or for all those who were trying to get away by saying that the deadline is too far away to schedule anything...you no longer have an excuse!!
I will most probably be at the reception desk so I'm looking forward to seeing many of you there!
>tonko
gokuro sama deshita this is not a dining
room but a gymnasium, isn't it? and it means
there were lots of people. approximately how
many were there?
and thanks for uploading those! i see many i've
sent out the invitations and glad they all came!
but i always wonder why the songs are from 80's
all the time at those parties? my seishun songs
are from 70's, and tension imaichi agare nai...
>Hecticさん
I was too busy running around I don't know who I met!
None of my BF's classmates came...
there was a reunion/end-year party on the same day
for them so most of them showed up there.
My BF left the party early to join them.
Please don't get confused, the homecoming in May is for SANTA MARIA SCHOOL IN NERIMA!! It actually has nothing to do with us Yokohama graduates.
We are writing about this school because it is the only international school that the Reihaikai runs in Japan. And, its principal Sister Mary Ann (who used to teach grade school in Yokohama when she was still a lay teacher and has outstanding memory of us all even when she never taught us) is struggling to keep it going. Its Alumni Association is working to help the sisters at the Nerima School
In short, the Hawaii reunion for us Yokohama graduates has yet to be decided regarding when or how it will take place.
Talk about the Hawaii reunion is still "talk."
Does your class (Class of 79) have definite plans already? If so, let us know. We need to inform the Class of 69 about it.
You are 4 years my junior ... I may not have known you ... in 2009, it will be 30 years since you graduated from SM.
There were only 6 graduates from my class of 1975. Can you believe that 3 of us lived in San Diego County at one point! What are the chances of that happening??!!
Anyhow ... I surely hope something materializes next year ... either by the '69 graduates or the '79 graduates ... those 2 classes should be pumped up and wanting to organize something, I hope. :)) I am sure there will be a lot of participants. We just need to all help out in spreading the word. With the internet, that is not difficult anymore.
