2007年12月に第5期事務局の全事業が終了、
今月より第6期事務局の活動が始まり、
8月にイスラエル･パレスチナの学生を招いて行う
合同学生会議の準備を進めています。

JIPSC is looking for the Israeli/Palestinian student participants for
The 6th JAPAN-ISRAEL-PALESTINE JOINT STUDENT CONFERENCE.

Our conference attempts to advance the dialogue between Israeli and Palestinian citizens who cannot easily have close contact. Meanwhile we also attempt to promote the understandings of Israel/Palestine in Japan.

We have two main purposes in the 6th Joint Student Conference.

First, we would like to promote mutual understanding between Israelis and Palestinians through dialogue and to make common value from dialogue that can overcome the difference between Israelis and Palestinians. Here dialogue means not only serious discussion but also various communications that happened while we spend time together.

Second, we have some opportunity to share what we found during this conference and we also attempt to inform of daily life and cultural matter in Israel and Palestine which are not familiar to Japanese.

Our conference is entirely run by students, therefore participants must be students. Here in Japan, we Japanese students are preparing for the conference and we are looking forward for the participants who can make the conference together!

Characteristics of the conference:
-- Participants share their lives; cooking, eating, cleaning together
and sleeping　in the big room.
Program will be decided by discussion among participants.

The Conference is organised by:
-- Japan-Israel-Palestine Student Conference, which is consisted of
some 20 Japanese students, range from 19 to 22 years old.

The Conference is supported by:
-- Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
Japan International Cooperation Agency etc.

Participants in the Conference are:
--- Some students from Israel and Palestine and Japanese students.

We will stay at:
-- Niigata, Nagano and Tokyo, Japan.

The period of the Conference is:
-- 8th-27th August 2008.

Participation fee:
-- varies according to who you are. Refer to the application form

We are looking for students who…
- cooperate with us to build the conference together
- take part in each program actively
- is well-motivated
- enjoy living together with others
- like to know different culture
