Hello, everyone! Nice to meet you. My name is Katrin. I am from Germany. I have been in U.K for three years before coming to Japan this time. Even as a teenager I was fascinated by Japan and its culture. When I was 16, I participated in an one-month exchange program between Mizusawa-shi in Iwate and my home town Hamburg, Germany. I love Japanese Cuisine like grilled salted mackerel and okonomiyaki. But I don’t like giblets, natto, shellfish and sea urchin. And I also like the rural landscape and myths and legends about fantastic creatures living in Japan. The myths of Kappa, shapeshifting foxes and raccoon dogs are my favorite stories. English is an international language spoken and understood throughout the world. It can work as a link between different cultures and for becoming a world citizen everyone should be able to speak English. I would like to teach English to children in a fun and easy way. My goal is to build a firm foundation for student’s future learning and to encourage them to communicate in English. Let’s learn English together!!
