ＯＳ：ＷＩＮＤＯＷＳ　ＸＰ（今それ以上確認できません。。）
機種：VAIO PCG-FX 33V/BP

先日、知人よりＶＡＩＯのノートを貰ったのですが、
３回目に起動した際、立ちあがった直後に
黒い画面で真ん中に青いベース、白い無機質な文字で
英語の羅列が出てきました。

私はパソコンが全く無知で、人からＰＣを貰ったのも
初めてだったので、どうしていいものやら
全くわかりません・・・。
頂いた知人はネットオークションで購入したらしく
「動作確認用」としてＸＰのＯＳが入っていた、とのこと。
（知人も私と同じくらいパソコン知識が浅いのです）
普通に購入したのなら、ＳＯＮＹのカスタマーに
問い合わせるのですが、状況が状況なだけにどうしていいか。。

どなたか、パソコン詳しい方、
どうしたらよいか教えてください！
とてもいいパソコンなので、捨てたくありません！！

何やら問題があったことはわかるのですが、
Ｆ８でセーフモードにしろ、みたいなことが書いてありますが
Ｆ８は全く反応しません。
最後に、テクニカルグループに連絡しろ、って書いてありますが
状況が状況なだけに、そんなわけにも行かず。。。

頂いてからほとんど設定はしていないので
内容がすべて消えても構わないのですが
何とか使えるようになれば・・・と。
