I decided to take some photos of Lompoc on my way
to work. The hills look really nice right now. We have
had lots of rain recently, so the hills are nice and
green.
Today the weather was perfect for taking photos.

It seems spring has come to Lompoc,huh? I didn't know Lompoc has such a nice scenery when I went there in fall last year. Are flowers around Lompoc blooming yet?

Actually, I saw a flower field the other day that had
bloomed. I was surprised to see it. Lompoc
used to have LOTS of flower fields, but now they plant
mostly vegetables. In June there is a Flower Festival
that is a big deal for Lompoc, but it is sad that now
the farmers don't plant as many flower fields.

Picture on the right is another flower field. Bloomed just in time for the Flower Festival last week.
