Wonderful season, isn't it? A never grow bored of watching cherry blossom every year.
The tour status:
Still working with people to find shows (zero results in Holland, Belgium). My original idea was to get you to play in a big concert hall, but that doesn't seem possible now. Playing in bars is always possible, but I was going to leave that as last option. Would you want to do that?
About transport, we will have to rent a van to go to Germany. I hope we can split the cost.
I can get train tickets from Paris to Lille too in advance, which will be cheaper, but that will be alot of money. I'm working on some paintings to raise some cash for that.
Did you bass player finish your website?
I need to know about Germany too, if you agree with doing small venues. When does the band want us to play? Are there fixed dates already? If you could send me his email again, that would be good.
When you come to France, there is a huge car boot sale thing in the streets of Lille, and should be fun to see. It last 3 days. We can eat traditional "Moules Frites", muscles and french fries.
I'm sure things will work out in the end.
Yours
James
I was away for 2 weeks working in the country side.
I got good news on my way back with someone I was planning the Hazama shows with. We have one good place on the 9th of Sep. You leave on 10th right?
So Germany should be planned before. Do you have any precise dates for Bremen, or can we play any time?
Things are working out, Hallelujah.
Yes, train tickets are cheaper if we buy them 3 months in advance. There is a TGV (like Shikansen) that goes from Charles de Gaulle airport to Lille directly. If I'm going to buy 6 tickets, it would be better if you send the money I think :). Do you have paypal?
So we have to get tickets beginning of June.
I'll get another show in smaller place as well. When you have website link, let me know.
Thanks for paypal. I will send the Charles de Gaulle to Lille fee soon. Remind me one last time how many people, and if it is "Charles de Gaulle" airport in Paris you'll need tickets from?
Just received this message from Flo:

Oops I completely forgot :)
One thing is for sure: we must decide soon what to do. I'll discuss this with Franck and others too before making a decision.
To make a tour date schedule, know that in Lille on 5th 6th, there is big street festival that is probably worth you seeing (like a huge carboot sale). People come to see it from all over Europe.
Also we have fixed show on 9th of Sep at the "Ferme d'en Haut". YTW will be doing an album release party that day too. http://www.lafermedenhaut.info/
Show at "Le four à Chaux" any day possible for the owner. This is in Belgium. The place is like a cave in an old lime oven: http://61.img.v4.skyrock.net/617/fourmadelon/pics/736537668.jpg

So for visits, there are so many places to go to. Amsterdam, destination number one. Where else would you like to go? Paris? Brugges is a nice town.
