A nuclear explosion has occured at the Fukushima Daiichi plant as a consequence of the Great Tokoku Earthquake. Residents within a 20 kilometer radius have evacuated and taken shelter, however domestic and farm animals were not allowed to evacuate the area. This is because these stranded animals were not permitted to evacuate and the residents in the area were told by the Japanese Defense Force that they would be able to return right away to care to them. After evacuation, the residents continued to plead to the Japanese government to return to the area and rescue their pets stranded and left to die of starvation. The government has done nothing for a very long period of time subsequent to this incident and these animals are still stranded, many of them left to die and their remains left to rot. Not only the affected residents but the entire Japanese nation is deeply suffering as a consequence of this negligence by the Japanese government. With sincere and strong feelings for this matter, please propose to the Japanese government to aid, rescue and provide proper care and shelter for these stranded animals that are starving. Thank you for your consideration in advance and reading this.
Sincerely,

I cannot promise anything as we are understaffed and can't help everywhere we would like to, but do you have the addresses and email addresses and titles and names of the people in charge of these decisions? The only thing we can possibly do is issue an email alert asking our members to put pressure on the decision makers. We do not have the staff and time to research these matters, so your help would be needed. If you can get that info, I can make a better case to our alerts writer to include your situation in our next alert.
