VG-EC, custom made in 1992 for bluegrass guitar legend and Acoustic Guitar Magazine "Artist of the Decade" David Grier and played on at least two of his classic albums ("Lone Soldier" and "I've Got the House to Myself"). Made in Nashville by luthier Marty Lanham, this is a classic D-21 style guitar made with Brazilian rosewood sides and back, spruce top, mahogany neck with ebony fretboard, ebony belly bridge, tortoise plastic pickguard, chrome Schaller mini-tuners, tortoise plastic-bound body with ma-eb-ma-eb top purfling, 15-1/2" lower bout, ~25-1/2" scale, 1-11/16" nut width, a couple of minor repaired back and side cracks, with tweed HSC (SN:91011)
