NCAAのRecruiting について説明少し説明します。
Division Iでは１校につき８５名までのFullScholarshipの選手がいます。　IAAでは６５名。This number is regulated by the NCAA and there is absolutely no flexibility. Teams cannot have more than 85 players on full scholarship. There is no school who cheats w/ that. If they get caught, they will receive severe consequence from the NCAA.

NCAAのRecruitingは争奪戦です。　Rivals.comとかScout.comを見ると全米中のHigh School Athleteがランキングされてます。　どこの学校に行くかは生徒しだいだけどいろいろな状況によって決めることが多いと思います。　僕のOpinionでは次のようなOrderです。

１．　Recruitされてる学校のCoaching Staff. How comfortable do these kids feel w/ the staff.
２．How good was this team last year. How good will they be in the near future? Will they have a shot for bowl?　BCS Bowl??
3. How good is my chance of getting on the field at this school? Will I sit on the bench for 3 years before I play? or could I play right away as a freshman.
4. Location of school. Will my family be able to come and see me play if I go here? Is it close enough for me to go home on weekend if I have a time?
5. The type of system the school runs? Will this system be a good fit for me? Will this system give me a chance to play in the NFL?
6. Facility. Do they have a top notch weight room and training facility? How is their stadium? Is is it grass or turf? Do they sell out most of their game?
7. School tradition. You can't buy tradition... Schools like Notre Dame and Michigan has advantange...
8. TV exposure. Will this school get on national TV a lot?

でも人間は人それぞれ違うから人によっては＃８が１番とかいろいろです。

強い学校っていうのはやっぱ自分の地元の州のTop playerをRecruitできるところが強いです。
