Wow! What a pleasure to hear from you. Well as for my life in Taiwan - it is much different from my days in Japan. I lived in Japan for almost 10 years. Working at Fusetsu Jr/Sn High was a great job and I really liked it.
Moving to Taiwan was difficult for me. I did not have a job. I did not know anyone, and I didn't know any Chinese - I still don't know much. I have been really lucky here in Taiwan - I got a job at a University and then I got another job working for the Taiwanese Army/Navy/Military. I was teaching at all the jobs - but working the Army was really interesting. Last year I found a better paying job at a private University - I took it - I am teaching at a place Asia University in Wufeng. It is a simple job - I teach students to get a good score on the TOEIC.
As for my life in Taiwan - Things have changed a bit for me. About 2 years ago I started cycling A LOT! Almost 800km every month. I also run these days too.
I blog about my exercise and races. You can see pictures and words about my life here
