A Happy New Year 2010. We wish you all the best this year
This is our first SCC in 2010, we would like to show you Japanese New Year Culture, which is…. [ Japanese practicing calligraphy(kakizome) & traditional Rice Cakes(mochi-ryori)]
Traditonaly in Japan, we write our goal of the year on big Japanese paper by using a big writing brush and black ink. We’ll show you what is what and how to use them. It’s so much fun to kakizome together, even though we need to concentrate when we write!! After that we’ll have Freshly-pounded Rice cake dishes like Ozoni, Zenzai, Kinako, Anko…
As well as we have Ethnic Music Performance by Naoto with his friends.
Doesn’t it sound so much fun!??? Come and Join us!!!!
Details: 17-01-2010 Sun 17:30‐21:00 we meet in front of Bar Swallowtail 1000yen (inc.Mochi dishes and you can take back your writing with you)
※Because of Kakizome we go to different place this time, it’s just 10 sec away from Swallowtail on foot. Therefor we can’t serve you any drink. You need to bring your own drink as much as you can drink!!
We would like to hear from you if you can come or not by the 13th of Jan. Looking forward to seeing you on the 17th. Thank you.
